Though the shoprunners seem like nice people, I couldn't help but feel duped with the pricing when a routine state inspection came back saying I needed tire rods replaced. I was told at first this would be routine and not too expensive, then moments later told that actually, for my particular vehicle, it'd be more expensive than usual... I was quoted $668 (!) (which also included wiper blades and a cheap bulb replacement, to be fair), and told they needed to order parts, so I had to drive around with a rejection sticker for nearly two weeks. When I agreed to the repairs and made my appointment to come have them done, I was quoted this same $668 price. Then I went and had them done, the price suddenly jumped to $750, because of charges not covered or even suggested by the quote. The clientele do seem nice, and certainly they know what they're doing and I'd trust them with general repairs and issues you might bring to them on your own time, but this is maybe not the place to go to get your state inspection done if you can help it. If you do, be wary of them slipping extra charges and make sure you ask for any and all potential charges up front on any quotes you get. Maybe get your state inspections done elsewhere.
